Susan partnered with author/deck creator Vicki Iskandar and the Hay House (part of Random House) PR team for the launch of The Chinese Five Elements Oracle deck. When they started in July for long lead outreach for an October book launch Vicki had around 2000 Instagram followers and was a locally known Feng Shui consultant. After great launch and Halloween events, and a huge push for holiday and Lunar New Year coverage, Vicki had over 7000 Instagram followers and was a sough after nationally known expert on Chinese Metaphysics. Jackson Galaxy: Developing Hit TV Show “My Cat From Hell”
Susan created a web, social, events and highly targeted personal relationship campaign that branded this unique personality. Using her entertainment world connections she was able to develop a reality television pitch for Jackson that ultimately resulted in the production of the popular Animal Planet show “My Cat from Hell” that ran for ten seasons.
Unabomber Poker: Phil Laak’s Guinness World Record
Susan managed media for noted poker star Phil Laak’s Guinness World Record Campaign setting game for the longest time an individual played poker. This intensive online campaign included blog coverage in the ESPN Poker blog, Robin Leach’s much syndicated VegasDeluxe blog and entire poker blogosphere. The campaign drove Laak’s Twitter follows to expand from less than 1000 to over 20,000, and over 170,000 people in 120 countries watched the game on Ustream. The event received coverage internationally across the media through wire stories by the international news syndicate Agence France Press.
