Los Angeles – April 5, 2024 – The veil thins as Liminal Shade unveils their latest double single “Long Live the Lost Ones + Dream,” a darkwave invocation summoning the forgotten wanderers.
“Long Live the Lost Ones” is a collaboration with underground LA techno artist STUXNET, using samples from his 2021 album of the same name. Mar Boreal‘s siren song beckons the exiled to find solace in her embrace, a sanctuary for those untethered from society’s narratives.
“Hold on dancer, don’t let me go,” she intones, offering a lifeline to the forsaken.
The B-side, “Dream,” strips back to just voice and John von Seggern’s ambient bass guitar, gently weaving a hypnotic tapestry. Mar’s words echo the yearning to reclaim one’s true essence, a luminous path through the haze. An ambient reverie to guide the lost back to their core.
In this latest release, Liminal Shade becomes a beacon in the depths, a flicker of hope for those adrift. Surrender to the currents and let their sonic riptide carry you into realms unknown.
Long live the lost ones.
